Summer 2000 computer maintenance - all NT4.0 servers:

Install Service Pack 6a. Obtain this update either from Microsoft or from the shop ftp site. Copy to a new folder on the server C:\Service Pack 6a. Make a shortcut to the file under the WSD1 Tech Utilities menu. Run the update. You will need to reboot.

Summer 2000 computer maintenance - all NT 3.51 servers:


Install Service Pack 5 + Y2K update. In most cases, it will already be installed on the server. Just run it from WSD1 Tech Utilities. If it is not already installed, run \OPSYS\SP5_NT3.51\INSTALL.CMD from the WSD#1 Backup CD Issue 16 or newer or download from the shop ftp site.
