Summer 2000 computer maintenance - all NT servers:

Run WINAT. If there is a backup or reboot script scheduled, edit the properties of that event so that "interactive" is enabled. This has been found to eliminate the hanging at shutdown problem that occurred infrequently on some NT 3.51 Servers.
