Yu-Gi-Oh! is about a young boy named Yugi who is in possession of an ancient Egyptian artifact known as the "Millennium Puzzle." Within the puzzle is the spirit of a Pharaoh by the name of Yami. It is up to Yugi to help Yami learn more about his past, which lies as a mystery to them both. Also, if the Pharaoh loses 1 battle, he would be forced to give all of his powers to the victor (this excludes the battle in which Yugi allowed Kaiba to defeat him). Together they must stop the evil plaguing the world and forbid them from possessing the 7 Millennium Items and 3 Egyptian God Monsters, for that would cause havoc to wreak.
