Welcome to my meager helping of Atari. This page is about me and my Atari, with links to my favorite Atari sites. When I was a wee child, I remember playing Night Driver, and Air-Sea Battle. And when Nintendo came out with Space Invaders for GameBoy, that was a great breath of nostalgia. So, I'm an 18-year-old chick who's been enjoying Atari since I was probably 5. The 2600 console, to be exact. I haven't had the pleasure of playing the 5200 or 7800-- but I've heard they aren't as good, anyway! So after years of being in my sister's closet, I brought out the ol' hunk of junk, went online, and bought "new" games, joysticks and the like -- because once something goes in my sister's closet, it cannot come out whole! So without further adieu, here's some Atari stuff I have. And after much raking through the Internet, I'm also including links for the best Atari sites out there.

So here is a graphic of my favorite games. As most Atari enthusiasts agree, Activision made the best games. And some of the most memorable -- both Pitfall! and my personal favorite, River Raid.

We all know of the phenomenon Pac-Man has been for both Midway and Atari. So it's not uncommon to find Pac-Man merchandise. I have a chidren's book, for example, titled, Pac-Man and the Ghost Diggers. And to think, this whole time we thought he was just chasing after drugs. Shown is a plush Pac-Man, from like '82 or sometime around then. I think my dad got it somewhere, I don't know... I just know it's older than I am!

Here comes what everyone has been waiting for... WORTHWHILE ATARI LINKS!

The Atari Historical Society Atari history, AP style.

If you have any rudimentary questions about Atari, feel free to e-mail me and ask... I just might know. Maybe.
