Terms and Translations...
Since we, the Suppy Crew are anime fans and all love the Japanese culture, there's probably going to be times when certain terms are used and it's only fair to you, people who aren't into anime or know no Japanese, that we let you know what they mean.
We usually use these terms to tease each other so they aren't necessarily true when we call people whatever. Like we call Ayo an uke but it...well he really IS one uh...another example. Nanoha and Akito are cousins but they're also a popular Yuri pairing which would make them Kinshin Soukan. But they really aren't. So without further ado...
Bishouen - Pretty Boy (or Tomboyish Girl)
Buchou - Club President
-chan - added to the end of someone's name to show closeness or used for a nickname. (Like how Yuuki and Nanoha add -chan to their close friend's names)Used usually for girls or small children.
Goshujin-sama - Master (the way a servant would call their male master)
Hime - Princess
Kaichou - shorten version of Student Council President
Kinshin Soukan - Incest pairing
-kun - added to the end of names, usually boys
Nii-chan - Big brother (in a more familiar sense)
Moe - Yuuki XD
Ojou-sama - Mi'lady, Young Miss, etc.
Otaku - anime lover/fan
-san - added to the end of names, usually out of respect or those you aren't as familiar with.
-sama - added to the end of names of people who are well respected or really important. Or people who're idols and have weird fanclubs...
Seito Kaichou - Student Council President
Seme/Uke - used usually for yaoi/yuri pairings but we use it for people in general
Seme - Dominate/Attacker
Tsundere - ...um not sure what the literal translation is but it means someone who puts on a strong front but is really a shy softy on the inside.
Uke - Submissive/receiver, Ayo
Yaoi - gay(men) couple
Yuri - Lesbian couple
