STEVIE WONDER Return Back to the Top "Little Stevie Wonder" as Motown proclaimed him on his first album release, did everything but little. He wrote, produced, performed, discovered, invented, contributed, founded and in his spare time, sang his way into music history. But his proudest contribution is that of a humanitarian. On his 'Hotter Than July' album, Stevie wrote and produce a song in tribute to the late, great Martin Luther King, "Happy Birthday." In addition, he fought and won a national holiday for him. In reference to Richard's Nixon political contributions to the White House he wrote the scathing, "You Haven't Done Nothing" and to educate the world about the importance of his heritage upon history, he reminded everyone the historical role of the "Black Man." Stevie Wonders real birth name was Steveland Judkins? Stevie prefers to use his mothers married name now (Morris.) When Stevie was born, the hospital put Stevie in an incubator immediately after his birth, baby Steveland Judkins was given to much oxygen causing him to suffer permanent blindness.
