The figures wearing white conical caps in (166b) are personnel employed in the Privy Stables while those in yellow-orange caps are bostanjis who guard the Privy Gardens. More of the latter appear in (167a), along with floppy red-capped bostanjis marching around the Bostanji grandmaster and the master of the Horse, mounted on horseback and dressed in fur-lined kaftans of silk brocade.
