It is said that there is a link with the PEEL family of the former Prime Minister and founder of the Police Service, Sir Robert Peel. The link is supposed to be through the female line.
Mary Parkington (b1853) supposedly received a weekly income from the "Peel Fund" and it was this money which enabled her husband James W. Livesey to start his businesses in the 1880s.

After receiving an outline tree of the Beswick family I have researched the various branches and as yet have found no link to the Peel family.
There remains 2 further possibilies, it could be through the families of either Ann Marsden or Rebecca Morris.
