Greebo: Sinder's Gentle Giant![]() Greebo was a very very good boy. He was such a good boy that Sinders will miss him terribly now that he's gone on to the rainbow bridge. On March 1, 2002, Greebo was 19 months old, and he was having great difficulty breathing due to advanced respiratory illness. Many rats struggle bravely to overcome this condition that is chronic to most rats, and Greebo was the bravest of them all. Even though she would have preferred to hold on to him, Sinders was always thinking about what was best for Greebo, and she took him to the Vet's office to give him a peaceful departure from this world. Later the same day, Greebo was layed to rest in the garden of Sinder's dad's home. They will plant Forget-Me-Not's there in honor of Greebo, as he was an unforgettable rat who taught a first time rat owner that rats are very gentle and loving beings. The highest honor Sinders can give to Greebo is to continue to love rats, and just recently, she has taken another rat named Xena in to her home and her heart. We will never forget you Greebo. Your legacy lives on in Sinder's heart and home, and in the happiness of Xena.
