Rats Are People Too! One of the most righteous of all rat addicts on the internet, Nat of RatRaisins Incorporated has created a veritable electric Deshnok Temple of the Internet. Be sure to pay homage to rats in hats at "Rats in Costumes!"
The Dapper Rat Robyn Arthur maintains this absolutely wonderful compendium of everything rat. If you want to learn something, see something charming, or be amused by rat related humor, please visit this site. Bookmark it. There is so much here that you will simply have to come back again and again. This site tastes good with cookies and coffee.
www.WORLDRATDAY.com You have to see this site! This is THE official Web site for the all new international rat holiday, WORLD RAT DAY! What more can I say? You can send e-postcards with gorgeous world rat day art on them from this site! You can take a banner to use on your site to promote this new wonderful holiday for rats!
Adorable Rats A site that persuades us to think of rats in a kinder light and to recognize what wonderful pets they make. Nice graphics, interesting articles and anecdotes, and a collection of links to rat FAQs and rescue information. You can join the ratlist mailing list here.
(bclee's) Rats! This is a very entertaining rat site with lots of good information and some photographs of the author's rats. You just have to read through this site to understand why I like it. It's really very funny. Be sure to read the section, "What I feed my rats". watch out for the anecdote, "What eats monkey chow?" I thought that was hilarious. There are so many stories and bits of good information here, so make a cup of tea and settle in to read this one for awhile.
Blackstaff Rats The site of a rattery located in London, England. There is a Pet Rat Information Sheet here which is full of good information about keeping rats. Adorable rat photos here too.
Fancy Rat FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions Concerning Domestic Fancy Rats There are some really good and complete answers here to common questions people have about rats.
Federal Bureau of Rats This is one of the most creatively cute rat sites on the Web! Rattie criminals are featured here so that you can recognize them for what they are...criminally cute little furballs who are most wanted.
Gorblimey: Art by Socar Myles I wish that I could afford to buy some rat art prints from Socar Myles. In the meantime, there's always the website. Please look for The Bad Rats Project in the Art section.
Leigh-Ann's Rat Page I was a little girl once, and so I understand the fun that can be had when watching pets play with your toys. Go to this website to see rats playing in a dollhouse. I'm tempted to buy a dollhouse for my rats!
Let's Get Rat A wonderful site all about rats. Lots of information and wonderful pictures here. I love the section of ideas for rat names. There is also a big section about rat colors with lots of pictures illustrating the different coat colors and markings. French language...but the photos and sentiments are in the universal language of rat-love.
Lisa's Rat Page The simplicity of this web site's title is deceptive! This page has really imaginative style and structure. Visit the link to the "Exhibition" to see the most creative way to display photos, of rats of course! The Memorial Page is very touching. You can get rat ASCII are here that you can put in your signature line to display your rat-pride.
PETRAT.CA This site is a really fantastic resource of rat related web sites out there, arranged in very useful and interesting classifications. There are too many sections to list them all here, but I thought the grieving section and the myths and folklore section were fabulous. Check this site out and make sure to bookmark it for ease of reference.
Pet Rats Canada: promoting responsible rat ownership There are many resources here which are geared towards Canadians but anyone who likes rats will appreciate this site. Here you can learn how to build an inexpensive rat playpen. I like the rat care section because it is a well organized list of links to essays on various topics.
RAG: Rats are Great I just love this site! It's very funny...hilarious rat-stories, cute rat-video and rat-photos, and best of all, great cartoons about rats called "Morty and Max". I think every rat owner with a computer should have this website bookmarked. You can even get a cartoon made of your rats. Everything about this site makes me smile.
Ratamania Beautiful site about pet rats that were rescued from a lab. You really have to view this site to understand and appreciate how beautiful it is.
Rat-A-Ma-Tat A great rat site with good design and interesting thing like a mailing list, message board, rat greeting cards, polls, and more, while also having a very good rat care section and nice gallery of rat photos. Check it out, and don't forget to join the mailing list too.
The Rat Palace or The Bloomin' Rat Palace This site would be great even if it weren't in two dialects...but then there's nothing like reading about rats in Cockney English! (as opposed to the 'Home Counties' dialect of English) You certainly won't understand until you visit this site, so you'll just have to see for yourself.
Rats4Rats Rats arguing for the better treatment of rats....great idea. Thought provoking mini-essays about how rats are mistreated, and how we can do things to help them, especially by knowing how to keep them happy as pets. This site appears to not have been updated for a long time though.
Rat Sauce A very entertaining site that includes neat things like famous rats, ratty toys, ratty games, rat graphics, rat care information and much more. The rat breeds page has a lot of pictures showing the different coat colors. The design is really nice, and there are even a couple of rat desktop themes you can download.
Rats O'Hooie This is a really cute and extensive rat site. The design and graphics are adorable and well executed, the content is intelligent and shows great fondness of rats, and it's just altogether very detailed and conscientious. You really have to see the "rat crimes" section. It's so funny!
Rattyrat.com This site has an appealing design, cute graphics and pictures of adorable rats, but I like it most of all for the writings and information. Read the ratty stories section! I loved the ratty stories section! The product review section is awesome...I just love that someone would take the time to review products for rats...and also to provide such detailed information. The more I explore this site and look at all the different sections, the more that I like it. The gallery is so cool because of the way the thumbnails are set in the frame based navigation bar. OK...enough explanations...just go there and see for yourself.
Tribute to Cinder This is simply the sweetest website I've seen yet about rats. The first time you view this site, just be patient and let it load all the way. Then hit the refresh button to watch it again. Make sure your sound is enabled because there is a really wonderful song that goes with the slideshow. That's all I'll tell you because you really just need to view it yourself.
The True Story of Sarah Ball and Rotten Rat I hope this story stays up for a long time. It's the story of a high school senior who took her senior portrait with her pet rat named Rotten Rat on her shoulder. This story made the news (includes the actual senior portrait!) when her principle censored her photo, refusing to allow it in to the yearbook as a senior portrait. I think the picture is fabulous. Sarah Ball, if you read this...can I have permission to use your senior portrait photo with rotten rat on my web page?
Welcome to the Rat Race If you want to be entertained, read a little of this great web site. If you want to learn a lot about rats, read it thoroughly. In either case, just read this site because it's one of the most interesting and informative rat sites I've seen yet. Both types of rats, Norway and Black, are discussed, and there is a fantastic section about the sacred rats of Deshnok Temple in India.
Wererat's Lair Rats, Fonts, Fantasy, Horror, Design A very stylish rat site with lots of useful and interesting information. Here you can actually see the Dungeons and Dragons statistics for a rat-like creature called a ratling! Check out the amazing desktop theme you can download to make your computer rat-centric and beautiful. One of the most creative rat sites on the Web.
