Dinner at the Busy Bee Pub in Watertown with B.A. and K.A. They have some of the best buffalo wings here, even though the place is a dive.

I took a 1/2 personal day today to finally get my braces put on. Now I'm not sure what I was thinking! OK, they are kind of cool but very strange, too. They feel bizarre and rough.

Had to go to school tonite. Hopefully nobody will notice my braces!

Went to an Open House at User Interface Engineering in Andover. The event was free and Jared Spool, founder of UIE, was the presenter. He's a great entertainer and speaker and the presentation was great. I drove up there with Joan Moore and met up with a few other people from Aspen. On the way up there, Joan and I were gabbing and I finally realized why Dr. Carl gave me some wax for my braces. They started cutting into my mouth. The more I talked, the more it hurt, and the more I started lisping. Putting the wax over the sharp parts helped a bit but some of the damage had been done.

Eric C. and Suzanne D. had a Mardi Gras party today that I was supposed to go to but ended up not going. I bet it was fun--they usually throw some good parties.

B.A., K.A., and I went to the Museum of Fine Arts for the Herb Ritts exhibit. Great photographer--I really like his work though every time I hear his name, I think of Herb Britt, that works at AspenTech. I remember a few years ago someone put a Herb Ritts poster on Herb Britts door at work of this really buff guy.

It was in the 70s today! yay. Took R.A. out for her birthday at Prima Vera's in Millis and then went over to V.S.'s. I can't believe I ordered a poppy seed dressing for my salad! Do you know where all the poppy seeds go when you are wearing braces?? Yeah, all over your big smile. Very nice.

K.V. pulled out the Superbowl leftovers from the freezer and we all went over there for dinner.
