ASSESSMENT CRITERIA
When the examiners mark your work, they will be looking to see if you have demonstrated specific skills to which marks can be awarded.
In general these skills are:

At GCSE level you concentrated on developing your subject knowledge with some emphasis on analysis and evaluation. To do well at A level you will need to develop the so called higher order skills of analysis and evaluation. These skills along with demonstrating good subject knowledge will enable you to achieve the higher grades of C to A.
These skills will be developed over the duration of the course. To get a good grade in your AS and A level economics you must become comfortable with using these skills under exam conditions. This will require practice and will be achieved through regular testing in class under exam conditions.
