ZONE REPORT

Zone calendar in located in the front of the books.

Nominations for 6?s are due 2 weeks prior to Easter which is in March this year.

October long weekend competition saw some great achievements from Zone One. Runners Up ? Div 3 were Sandy Ireland & Glen Murray, Div 1 were Steve Gray & Jackie Murray, Premier grade were Fran Shore & John Milligan. There were also many teams who made it to the Semi Finals in both the Singles and Doubles competitions.

GENERAL BUSINESS

Mortdale RSL is currently under renovations and so all games will be played at Oatley RSL until further notice.

Presentation Night ? tender to be received no later than 10th June as they are to be presented at the next AGM which will be held on the 24th June.

Sutherland Shire website ? has been updated. Barry Plummer asked if the Shire rep team calendar & results can also be added to the website.

The Shire game against the Illawarra will be held in the later half of the year and will be at Club Engadine. There will only be one game as per their request.

A motion has been moved to have team names instead of MRSL 1, MRSL 2, etc. but to have more original names like the Magpies or Thistles. This is to be voted on at the next meeting. Moved by Barry Plummer and Seconded by Terry Maney.
