i had to be up at 5am this morning. i got 4 hours sleep. my flight to cairns was leaving from the international terminal and we thought it would be safest to follow international flight protocol by being at the airport 2 hours before the flight left. we didn't account for the traffic jam we ran into on the way to the airport, however. luckily they had not given away my ticket by the time i got to the terminal. *phew*
i've never been on an aeroplane before. i don't know if any of you knew that already, but how sad is that? i'm 21 and have never flown until today. even my 5 year old cousin has flown - she has been to europe twice. oh well, at least i'm not spoilt. it's not my fault i haven't flown... i've just had no where i have needed to fly to before.
flying is cool. i love it. i agree with my mum and her love of take offs. they are fun. i prolly wouldn't be thinking flying was quite so fun if i had have decided to fly to cairns with ansett instead of qantas. i had considered
ansett, but their price was no cheaper than qantas, so i went with qantas. jen is sposed to fly to the gold coast with ansett. hope she makes it and that her plane doesn't crash. i don't think this website could carry on minus a suupergrrl.
well, it is only a couple of hours until i see nickynoodle now!
yayyyya! so excited! feels like it has been forever since i have seen him, even though its actually only been a couple of months.
must be off! shall fill you all in laterrrrrr!
