**My House**

I have now owned the property next door for two years. The house was a tiny two bedroom cottage in need of renovation.

**Two Bedroom Cottage**

Last year Neil & I extended the house to make it 3 bedrooms with a new kitchen and bathroom. The house is almost twice as big as it was before but this renovating is a long, slow process. The final stage was the addition of a verandah along the north (sunny) side of the house. I hired a builder to build the verandah and also a new animal house. The painting was eventually finished - except for the roof but the tenants and I are not doing that!

After the Verandah & Painting	Tenant Kerry & I chose the colour scheme. Truffle is the main colour with Indian Red on the verandah (& eventually the roof) and pale pink under the eaves and on the verandah ceiling.
