This HOTAIR segment ran during the Presidents little drama with Monica Lewinsky.
There is all kinds of talk going around these days about President Clinton and all the problems that he's having right now. Well, first thing I gotta put in print right now is that I am no fan of the man. Having said that, I still believe he is the President of the United States, and should be treated as such. Clinton the man is a complete moron, and therein is his entire problem. If you are a democrat, republican, liberal, conservative, green, communist, or even United We Stand, we all MUST agree with this simple premise. I am not concerned with whether or not he had an affair with Monica Lewinsky. I would actually be proud of him for doing so! There's nothing like having a 20 year old piece of ass when your as old as the president! His problem is that he keeps getting caught! I am sick and tired of the leader of the free world constantly being so stupid! If the man can't handle an affair with some 20 year old kid, how the hell can we trust him with REAL issues which confront our country everyday? Imagine what Saddam or Yeltsen can do if they really put some effort into it! Clinton needs to start handling his affairs like the Kennedy family does. When there is a problem, people seem to die! Darndest thing! Even when the Kennedy's kill people and hush up affairs, the people that should rise up against them the hardest make up the biggest lies in order to protect their interests. NOW should be the biggest advocate against anything which comes within 20 miles of a Kennedy... and yet they will endorse the schmucks over and over. Not a bad plan! So... what is the bottom line? We as a nation should be somewhat more tolerant about what the Prez does with his spare time. Forget about what he's doing with his zipper, and start concerning ourselves with what he's doing with his political agenda. He is a man with no spine... he takes credit for everything the congress does which has a happy ending, and conveniently steps aside from the criticism when a mistake is made. Wow.. I thought Reagan was the "Teflon" President. Reagan is an iron skillet compared to the TeflonII surface of Clinton! At least Jimmy Carter, for all his faults, stood by his principles! He was a liberal, and never backed down from that. I might not agree with his politics, but I respect a man who doesn't waver from his beliefs. Clinton just sticks his wet finger (no comment as to how it got wet) into the air and looks for the direction of the political wind... and follows it. He stabbed the "gay" vote in the back... he has stabbed the "woman" vote in the back... he has stabbed the "Hispanic" vote in the back. Yet time and again, when push comes to shove... these folk still back him up. Hell or high water. Politics are just the darndest thing. Oh well... that's my HOTAIR for today
