Stakes in the Mission
The México City East Mission is comprised solely of stakes. There are no
independent branches or districs. There are approximately 50,000 members
belonging to the 14 stakes of the mission. The stakes are as follows:

Mission Boundaries
The México City East Mission covers the eastern part of México City,
starting from the Zócalo. There are approximately 10-11 million people
within the mission boundaries. The mission extends to Amecameca,
Osumba, and Tecalco on the Southeast.
Going up toward the Northeast, the mission extends to Tecamac,
Ecatepec, and the entire state of Hidalgo. This includes Tula, Valle
de Mezquitál, Pachuca, Tulancingo, and extends into Puebla for the two
cities of Hualchinango and Xicotepec.
