Mexico City Temple President Roy H. King Jr., 71, is from the Brighton 5th Ward, Salt Lake Brighton Stake, and was called as president of the Mexico City Temple, succeeding Pres. Ted E. Brewerton. Pres. King's wife, Lila Darlene Olsen King, will serve as temple matron.
Sister King, currently serving as choir director for LDS Corrections Services at the state prison, is a former Relief Society president and instructor, and served with her husband when he was mission president.
