About me

My restoration

I've bought my Pharaoh on the german Ebay late summer 2003 for €295. Nice seller and we agreed upon him putting it on a pallet and I would arrange shipping. Luckily nothing went wrong with the pickup and the machine came home in one piece. Seeing the machine for the first time revealed some bare spots that the picture from the auction could not reveal. The seller send me these pictures before the auction ended:

Hard to see the wear at the slings Backglass looks good...

As you can see not much to go for, but since Pharaoh is such a rare pinball I decided to go for it.

Below pictures I took before I stripped the machine completely. This was a great help, as a reference to where everything did go when I reassembled the machine.

Most of the snakes head is gone!
No decals on droptargets
No stickers on droptargets
Lots of pinball dirt everywhere
Even more dirt
Notice the hidden face just below the entrance to the slaves tomb
The captiveball free at last
Great detail on upper PF
The now not so hidden tomb
Notice more wear around inserts
Wear even at kickouthole
Entranceramp to upper shows a little wear
Notice kicker to upper PF
Those insert needs to get some paint
And this snake also suffers from playfield wear
Order of the day: broken lamps and grime
Lower left droptarget bank
