Loki (also Loke, or Lopt) = Loki embodies the element of Chaos among the Æsir. He is the trickster and the deciever. Loki had three children by a giantess named Angrboða, and they were Fenrir, Jörmungand, and Hel. He gave birth to Sleipnir when in the form of a mare. He also played a major role in the death of Balder.
Fenrir (also the Fenris-wolf) = A wolf which was raised in Asgarð where Týr fed it. However, it grew so quickly that the Æsir decided to fetter. The first two fetters were very strong, but could not hold Fenrir. The third fetter, called Gleipnir, was made from six things: the noise a cat makes when it moves, the beard of a woman, the roots of a mountain, the sinews of a bear, the breath of a fish, and the spittle of a bird. Fenrir did not trust the Æsir this time, and said that one of them must place their hand in its mouth. Týr did so, and lost his right hand when they fettered the wolf. Now that Fenrir was bound, they chained him to a boulder and propped open his mouth with a sword.
Jörmungand = Also called the Miðgarð Serpent, it was flung into the sea which surrounds Miðgarð. There it grew so large that it encircles the world, biting its own tail.
