Meet Vijay

Vijay has been aboard Sequel for over 8 months, working on the interior to make it a home we will enjoy for many years to come. After all this time, he's almost like a member of the family. It is not uncommon for him to show up with a treat for us to eat. He also invited us to his home for a Hindu prayer ceremony and rededication of his wedding vows.

The trip to Vijay's home was our first attempt at driving a car in Trinidad, where people drive on the left. We picked a good day to give it a try -- it was pouring rain and the windshield wipers on the rental car left a lot to be desired. We survived the 2 hour drive and managed to find his home in Penal, which is in a beautiful area of Trinidad.
