My Everlasting Star

I watch the stars at night
And find they are so bright
Shining there for eternity
Forever they will be

Do they ever shed a tear?
Would they know fear?

Always together
At the same time far apart
Just like you and me
Only connected by their heart

There's no distance between our minds
Though I sometimes wish you could really be mine

Look into my eyes
Forget about the time
Forget where you are
See, that you're My Everlasting Star
