Sweet Dreams

I had a dream
It seemed so real
Wish it could become true
'Cause I dreamt about you

I dreamt about the stars in your eyes
Of that moment between us without lies
Drowning in that look so bright
Begging to be held tight

I dreamt about your body close to mine
Forgetting every notion of time
Felt your whispers soft as rain
As caresses able to heal ev'ry pain

I dreamt about the warmth you gave to me
I could taste every part of your body
I could breathe your sweet smell
No one would believe me if I'd tell

I dreamt about your beautiful smile
That I adored...for a while
Then it faded away in the dark night
No arms left to hold me tight

I had a dream
It seemed so real
