Latest Update!

August 2, 2002 - Temporarily, my newest song, a redo (and reimagining) of "Everyone's Gotta Have a Happy Song!" is only available by clicking on the link on the home page.  Check it out!

Past Updates!

June 28, 2002 - It just has not been my month!  AudioGalaxy is dead, and now Angelfire is forcing me to bring my site down to 20 Megs from 50 Megs.  I had to do some extensive deleting, including new songs "The Truths of Departure," "Everything is Good," "Conflicting Accounts of Social Encounters," and "Je Souhaite," and old songs "Ageless Wanderers..." (acoustic), "Why Do You Hate Me So?", "Sunrise," and "Everyone's Gotta Have a Happy Song!"  I have some extra space on Geocities, so I'll transfer some of it over soon.

June 20, 2002 - Well, unfortunately for me and for many, many other people, AudioGalaxy has died.  Damn music industry!  So, I've now done some long overdue uploading, in order of creation: "Everything is Good," "The Truths of Departure," "Permissive Under-reach," and "Missing Person." To make this room, I had to delete "Embryonethics," "The Failing," and "Damaged Divinity."

May 21, 2002 - As with the previous update, there isn't a significant addition to the page, but the songs page has been updated with information on my newest songs and the method by which you can sample them yourself.  Trust me, AudioGalaxy is worth having, so download it!

April 9, 2002 - I haven't added anything really significant, but I did update the songs page with information about the additional songs I plan to upload in the future, and I added the lyrics to my newest song that is soon to be recorded, "The Truths of Departure."

April 2, 2002 - I've been away for a while working on two new songs that are now available (although the mixes have not been finalized): new recordings of classic song "Je Souhaite" and more recent song "Conflicting Accounts of Social Encounters."  I had to delete "How to Tell," "Perpetually Single," and the older version of "CASE."

March 19, 2002 - For the second time in its short life span, the site has a new color scheme to go with my new selection of songs.

March 17, 2002 - Looks like I'm back to regular updates.  This time I've added a new (and definitely improved) version of "The Price," with a new bass line, a wider sound stage, and better mixed volumes.  Also, I've uploaded the new version (and I'm talking huge changes here) of "Ageless Wanderers..."  Both songs are on my New Songs page.  And both are definitely worth checking out!  "Simple & Simply Beautiful" was the victim this time.

March 11, 2002 - This update was a long time coming, but it was definitely worth it.  This is a huge step for my musical career.  You'll have to visit this page to download my newest song, "The Price."  Swweeet!  Also note the removal of "Everything is Good" and "Step One?" to make room--there are now no songs on the bonus tracks page.

December 11, 2001 - It's been a while since my last update, so I'm making up for lost time with two, count 'em two, new ones today: "Why Do You Hate Me So?" and "The Failing."  "Je Souhaite" and "Magnetizing Inrush" had to be pulled, sadly.

November 13, 2001 - Today's new song is titled "Ageless Wanderers & Fairytale Creatures."  Yes, seriously, that's the title.  And "What's a Catch-22?" was the unfortunate victim of those wanderers and fairytale creatures.

October 29, 2001 - An unusual update today: a replacement.  As last week wore on and I listened to "Into the Woods" a few more times, I realized that it didn't really come together as a complete song.  Some elements worked well; other's didn't.  So, I've now uploaded the similar sounding but better "Everyone's Gotta Have a Happy Song" in "Into the Woods"' place.  This one is going to be a personal favorite, I think.

October 23, 2001 - Well, I guess I wasn't satisfied with only one new song this week, so now you can also hear "Into the Woods."  Unfortunately, I had to remove "The Curl" this time (it's getting harder and harder to choose which song gets cut!).

October 22, 2001 - This week's new song is titled "Simple & Simply Beautiful."  Unfortunately, I had to remove "Star-Delta Connection" this time.

October 15, 2001 - Another new song!  This one's called "How to Tell?" To make room, "Resonance" was removed.

October 2, 2001 - "Damaged Divinity" has arrived!  "The Stars Alight" had to be sacrificed to a higher power.

September 24, 2001 - The lyrics and chords, plus additional comments, for "Sunrise" are now available.

September 22, 2001 - New song--"Sunrise"--and it's a good one!  Lyrics will be added soon.  Gone is "Alone."  Also note that a little bit of yellow has leaked into my web site colour scheme; watch for more colours to appear in the weeks ahead.

September 6, 2001 - How can you tell when I'm bored?  The complete graphical redesign of this site is a good clue.  The black and white motif is inspired by my new album title "Time & Dreams Fade" and a classic Extreme song titled "Color Me Blind" ("Why do we dream in black & white? Color me blind.").  Anyway, what do you think?  Is it ugly?  Does it work?  Do I need to get a life?

September 4, 2001 - "Conflicting Accounts of Social Encounters" has been added.  This one is definitely worth checking out!

August 17, 2001 - "Embryonethics" and "The Stars Alight" are available!  "The Lesson: Never Try" and "A Window to the World" were removed to make room.

August 16, 2001 - "Perpetually Single" is too good to be hiding, and it belongs on my CD compilation.  For these reasons, I have done a reorganization of the Songs pages.  To make room for "Perpetually Single," "The Fine Art of Breathing" has been cut from "Everything is Good."  In addition, I have added the lyrics for the next two songs to appear here: the timely "Embryonethics" and the camping themed "The Stars Alight."

July 23, 2001 - Rejoice :)!  "RHBs" is back online, albeit buried a little deeper in the site.  In addition, the 3.4MB bonus referred to in the previous update, which I will now reveal is a song titled "Perpetually Single," is now easier to find.  Since it may be the best song on this site, I want it to be heard--hint: find "RHBs."

July 21, 2001 - This isn't really something I wanted to draw attention to (don't ask me why I am--although I'm pretty sure no one reads this page anyway, and it's mostly for my own reference as to dates of activity), but I have recently made some interesting modifications and additions to the site that should not be readily apparent to anyone (they are hidden--and for good reason).  If you are resourceful, you may stumble across a frightening detailed essay (it's probably best if you don't read it) and a 3.4MB bonus.

July 17, 2001 - SWLangman.com is mine!  Using that URL will direct you to this site with ease.  You can also now email me at SWL@SWLangman.com.  Cool, huh?

In addition, I have recently put together a 12 song CD with the MP3s available on this site.  Of course, anyone else could do the same (one tip: use Nero to ensure that the song volumes are equal), if they so desired, but they wouldn't get the cool inserts I created :).  If you'd like a copy of my CD, which to this date has only been given out to family and close friends, let me know.

July 9, 2001 - For better or worse (mostly worse), "Alone" and "A Window to the World" are back online for the time being. My 50 Megs of space is now fully devoted to the 12 available songs.

July 3, 2001 - To celebrate my first prolonged vacation from work, I have uploaded two songs with work-inspired titles (but not content), "Magnetising Inrush" and "Star-Delta Connection."  Also, check out my newest song, "Resonance."  To make room for these three MP3s, "Still Water," "A Window to the World," and "Alone" were temporarily removed.

June 17, 2001 - Scott W Langman Online's two month anniversary means a couple changes. Out (temporarily?) are "RHBs" and "Decoding Dreams," and in are "Alone" and "The Fine Art of Breathing." Enjoy!

Also check out the lyrics page for ongoing (unlisted here) updates.
