Going?

The train is coming,
It's horn can be heard.
For miles
Loud battalion strikes
I am bound for the future on train number twelve,
On track seventeen.
To where the future is a little town
Just beyond the hills in the eastern or western province.
It's a faint glow that shines golden orange in the distance.

Calling many to come,
So I have come too
I have seen the future
All I have to do is buy a ticket.

Here in the station, most people sit watching
Trains coming and going, waiting for theirs.
Many are afraid,
They fear the future with its bright city lights
But it's just a small town,
Population about three hundred
Like a town full of ghosts.

So stand ready to meet the train, strong, determined for the future.
Have you time to wait, like others do? I am not afraid.
Are you?

Sometimes life is wrought with desicions and choices, well, I think this poem says it all. "I am boind for the future on train number twelve , on track seventeen."
