Night

Night is when nobody sees,
That is what they claim,
Unless you possess Elven-Sight.
That doesn’t matter,
Because I like the night; it
Hugs me
It’s warmth that creeps around
Like climbing ivy.

Happiness comes with the night,
Safe,
Sleepy,
But I’m wide awake on the
Inside.

The body falls; ends up asleep,
Deeply into the softness and the
Caresses it gives--
Makes me want to sleep away tyme,
But not alone.

Alone, in the night, as
The ivy chokes
The life from others
In the garden.
When I’m not alone in the
Garden, it’s secure grip
Holds me, the night becomes
My comfort.

-------------------------------------------------------------
This is the happy feeling I get at night, as of recently, I have become a night person, pratically a vampyre, and this is my thoughts about the loving acspect of the night. My favourite part of the poem is, "Happiness comes with the night, safe, sleepy, but I'm wide awake on the inside," taken from some children's poem by somebody (I've since forgotten). In this way the darkness is like a child tucked into bed, safe and sleepy.
