Here, The Coming Battle

Here, the coming battle
rains terror with the shedding of blood
fears fills that empty space
where nothing, but the human beast dwells.

Rains terror with the shedding of blood
my deepest desires pour from within
where nothing, but the human beast dwells
Does it sing its song to me?

My deepest desires pour from within
his touch, it brings me back
does it sing its song to me?
Yes, it echoes through my eardrums.

His touch, it brings me back
to the center of time.
Yes, it echoes through my eardrums.
Kisses the tender heart.

To the center of time
we return.
Kissing the tender heart.
Our time has come.

Here, the coming battle.

Another poem from my creative writing class. On a more morbid day I wrote this one. No real reason why I wrote it, but I was trying to write both light and cheery poems and darker, threatening poems. It really adds to ones skills, when one can write in both ways.
