Willy C Blues

Listen to what I’m saying,
I can’t hear myself
Among the shouts of others
My head can only take so much
Intoxicating colours swirl before me
Blazon orchestras break my eardrums
Bleeding all over
I am left to the pool forming at my feet
There is no pain
But my heart feels the remorse
Of something gone wrong
Mistaken identity
Cruel twist of fate
I am left alone to mull over my thoughts
Tears are dry
But they scratch at my cheeks.

Drowning my sorrows in caffeinated tea
I seek the solace
Companionship
But my bed is cold
My shoulders all knotted
My lips dried from the stale air
Hear the orchestra blaring off beat techno
I am sad
I am lonely in a crowded room
Where can I go?

In one of the many states that I inhabit during a single I was in the Williams Centre, A.K.A the Willy C, in the Sighnature Cafe. FEeling very lonely and alittle depressed, well, I proceeded to write and what transpired between my and the pen was thisn little poem.
