Welcome!
This is my online collection of portraits of Roman Emperors, obtained (mostly) from best-quality coins I could find. There are many black-and-white and color images for every one of them (including local usurpers, Caesars, and some unknown ones (like Uranius Antonius or Saturninus)), and you are welcome to take a look. (click here) or to my main page (click here)... Another thing - the collection is quite large - especially the 3rd century (if you know anything about the history of the Roman Empire - you know why), so, I had to break some centuries into separate files.
Some of them are quite large, so it can take a moment or two for it to be downloaded completely (Note from Dec.26th,1998 - I used some compressing program to compress the files, so it takes much less time nowadays to downloan the collection). Please, be patient - it is worth to wait a couple of moments... I just did not have the strength to create separate html files for every Emperor...
