Did the dragon overlords originally live in Taladas?
No; the dragon overlords of the Fifth Age (such as Malystryx and Beryllinthranox) came from an unknwon land. Although the dragons of Taladas are different from those who fought in the War of the Lance, there are no great dragons like Malys native to this continent. The land of Malys?origin lies elsewhere in Krynn.

Is the homeland of the Brutes located in Taladas?
No. The land of the Brutes (described in The History of the DRAGONLANCE?#060;/FONT> Saga) is an island much smaller than Taladas, and probably lies in the southern hemisphere of Krynn, a few months?sail from Ansalon.
