Hi! I'm Freckles, Tale and Blondi's beagle. Welcome to my doghouse. I share it with my little brother, Sparky.
Occassionally my little brother and I write about our adventures, and our friends have asked us to share them. Would you like to hear about the time my Alphas rescued me from prison? The one about the day my brother came to live with us is pretty cute too. I have many skills, and one of my best is my crawlie hunting abilities. Oh...the stories I could tell you! Pull up a cushion and get comfy and Sparky and I will tell you a few of our favorite stories.

While you're reading, why not nudge your humans into making you some biscuits? Here's a recipe my dark alpha's mother sent us!
Ingredients:
- 1-cup flour
- 1cup whole-wheat flour
- 1/2-cup wheat germ
- 1/2 cup powdered dry milk
- 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 6 tablespoons bacon fat or margarine
- 1 egg
- l teaspoon brown sugar
- 1/2-cup water
Preparation:
- Mix first 5 ingredients in bowl.
- Cut in fat until mixture resembles, corn meal.
- Beat egg and brown sugar and add to dry ingredients.
- Add water to make a stiff dough.
- Knead on floured surface until smooth and pliable.
- Roll out on floured surface to l/2 inch thickness.
- Cut out with small cookie cutters or dog bone cutter.
- Bake on greased cookie sheets at 325 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
Biscuits can be placed close together on sheets since they do not spread while baking. To harden them even more, leave them in oven after turning off the heat for another 20 minutes after baking.
