T-Shirt Policy
TALON is a large group of visible, diehard Georgia Southern fans. There is no dress code (other than the wearing of blue) at any GSU sporting event. Most members wear their Talon shirts on-campus mainly due to the fact that they have their own personal gameday attire.

Code of Conduct TALON members are subject to a Code of Conduct as are all members of the student body. Please be aware that TALON is the original and only sanctioned student support group in the entire conference, and what the rest of the Student Body uses as a role model on how to act at sporting events. When wearing the TALON T-shirt, and cheering at an event, you are a role model whether you realize it or not. Also keep in mind that you are representing the student body and your school, and those improperly representing Georgia Southern and TALON will not be allowed in the cheering section. In addition, any actions that violate NCAA, SoCon or Georgia Southern University policy can result in serious consequences for Georgia Southern, Georgia Southern's athletic department, TALON, and the individual violator.

Improper conduct includes but is not limited to:
  • Profanity
  • Threatening remarks
  • Racist, sexist, or related remarks
  • Throwing objects at fans or onto the field.

Furthermore, harassment of any kind toward opposing fans or other members of TALON will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

Remember that you are at the event to cheer the Eagles on to victory and make life as tough as possible for the visiting team.

Upon disregard of this Code of Conduct:
  1. The Member will be formally warned by the acting President. Note that this warning is recorded for future reference.
  2. If improper behavior continues then the Member will be ejected from that sporting venue.
  3. Two ejections will result in permanent expulsion from Talon.
  4. Warnings start over for each sporting event, but an excessive number of incidents can be grounds for expulsion at the discretion of the President.
  5. Even with this system in place, extreme actions can result in immediate punishment at the discretion of the acting President.
