Hemp Jewelry

All of my hemp necklaces, bracelets, and anklets are hand knotted. I use quality beads and findings. My favorite are shells from South Padre Island, TX. and the hand blown glass beads made by Amy Fill. I use wood, glass, and other items as well in my necklaces. I can also add charms if desired.

Pricing~ Depending on the hemp, beads, stones, charms, and knotting used, necklaces will usually run between $7 and $20.

Now the environmental advantages to hemp products! Hemp fiber is one of the strongest and most durable natural textile fibers grown today. Products made from hemp are very durable and will outlast their competition (such as cotton) by years. The more your hemp necklace, anklet, or bracelet is worn, the softer it gets. Hemp doesn't wear out, it wears in! Did you know that a single acre of hemp can produce the same amount of paper as four acres of trees? Trees also take up to 20 years to harvest and hemp takes only a single season. In warmer climates, hemp can be harvested up to three or four times a year. In areas with bad soil, growing hemp will restore the nutrients. Hemp seeds are also an excellent nutritional source of protein and amino acids and hemp seed oil is a wonderful moisturizer.
