THE NEW HOUSE!

Ok, My pic of our house was dark, so I put  the demo house up instead since it was clearer. Our house brick is a bit lighter.

Well, it was rough trying to find the perfect house with the perfect yard (for tigger) and I really think I came close!  This house is absolutely gorgeous! I wanted a house in the Friendswood Tx area, and I got it!  The front yard is pretty darn big, in this pic, it's really dark and most of the yard is cut but at least you have an idea... and the backyard, well, lets just say that I can put in a few Olympic sized pools!

Here are just a few picks. This is obviously our formal dining room. We purchased Broyhill furniture for this room, pricy but worth it! Dan also replaced the light fixtures, it seems that Brighton loves the cheap looking bright yellow-gold crap....

Some of them are dark, but We're still trying to get the builder to make certain adjustments.....check back soon for more pics!

4 Bedrooms
2 1/2 Bathrooms
2 Formals
1 Breakfast Room
1 Kitchen
1 Living Room
2 Car garage

The master bedroom has this cool "sitting room" and I had the builders put mirrors along the hallway to the sitting room and it looks really great!  I've decided to use the colors Blue and Cream in this room.  The carpet is called "Beach Basket" and its neutral and can be used with basically any color!

"MY room" is kind of like a dorm room setting, I have my new L shaped desk that I just purchased so I can use the computer while having a ton of my school books open at the same time and still have enough room for papers and other stuff.  I haven't decided on actual colors yet for this room, but the desk is black and grey.  I'll be putting a daybed in there so I can either sit on it while studying or fall asleep while trying to study! :)  This room is also equipped for a tanning bed! (of course)  one of the requirements I gave to the builder is that I have it wired for the bed!

The GUEST room is the kind of room you would love to just relax in!  The colors are peach and cream (and some pinks) theres alot of floral designs including the bedding which flows right into the attached guest bathroom.  Who ever stays in the guest room has to love flowers! LOL The whole room just puts you right at ease!

The Breakfast room! This is one of my favorite rooms! Theres a gorgeous bay window with a window seat (which tiggy LIVES on!) and it overlooks the HUGE backyard.  I plan on planting some roses under the window for even more of a breathtaking view, but haven't gotten around it yet.

My plans for the backyard......

ok, here it is! way in the back, I plan on having a tropical setting with a waterfall flowing down into a  pond.  Of course I'll be putting a pool in, I haven't decided on what type of design yet.  I can't forget, I have to plant those roses under the bay window.

Well, theres so much more to the house, but like they say, a picture is worth a 100000000 words :)
