I've got a few things to put up, mainly a few scans of Withches Of Eastwick pictures from Victoria's papers and from the programme. I'll try to get them up in the next couple of days. Have a look at Tripod's site, if you haven't lately. They're doing some shows in Sydney this Christmas and they've got a new CD coming out soon! 4 August 2002

The Melbourne International Comedy Festival got underway this week. The Gala will be aired later on in the month (about the 11th of April, I think), on Channel Ten. I'm off to ComFest on Tuesday, so don't expect any updates for a week or so (not that that's anything new! ;0)), but, when I get back I'll have some photos and stuff to put up (once the holidays are over and I go back to uni where my scanner is!).

An update at last! No new content, but I should put up an update for a very special concert that's coming up soon, starring some of the funny people from this site (including a rumoured DAAS reunion - they're all listed as being there!). Visit http://www.forholly.com.au for more information!
My goodness, it's been forever since I updated this!! Apologies, life's gotten a tad too busy for my liking lately. To that end, I've decided to put an end to the song of the month, because I just can't be botherd... no, I haven't got time (hehe!)... to keep it up to date.
There's a new Song Of The Month. There's a video interview with Wil on this site and Tripod are doing their Pod August Nights Shows every night this August in Melbourne again this year. See their website for booking details and information.
Paul's going to be on Rove Live this Tuesday night, 9.30pm on Channel Ten.
On the Witches Of Eastwick website, they're putting up new rehearsal footage each week. It's in the "sights and sounds" section.
I've got a new email address for the site, the other one seems to have gone arse-up (and it was getting overflooded with viruses!) - limegreendocs@yahoo.com.au. I haven't changed the links around the site, that'll be done in about a week or so.
*phew* After a lot of hassles, hooking up VCRs to stereos, etc, there's a new Song Of The Month.
New Song Of The Month.
On Rove tonight, Adam Hills will be on to promote his new single - Advance Australia Fair to the tune of Working class Man. Heaps of comedians, including Paul and Tripod, have collaborated on it, and they are apparently screening the video clip of it on the show tonight.
Thanks to Victory - GUD is going to be at Tilleys in Canberra on the 12th of June.
There are three new Paul pictures (Witches Of Eastwick promo pics) and a new Tim picture and an updated link - http://www.boothby.cjb.net.
I've put up a new Song Of The Month, and tickets for Melbourne's Witches Of Eastwick officially go on sale tomorrow morning, through Ticketek (they've actually been on sale through the website since Thursday).
Happy Birthday, Mel! :0) Karen informs me that The Ratpack are doing a show in Adelaide, as part of the Adelaide Cabaret Festival. Also, I found a few Rove (who won a Silver Logie last night) links, in my weary travels through the web tonight...
I've just put up an auction on Ebay, which some of you might be interested in. It's a copy of Shut Up/Kiss Me and the Good News Week Book: Volume Two.
Crikey! Check this out - http://www.witchesofeastwick.com.au!!
There are new pictures on the:
And just a quick note to say that the "Witches Of Eastwick" poster is out (Melbourne) - there's a scan of the bit with Paul in it on the Paul pictures page (I couldn't fit the whole poster on my scanner, and I couldn't be bothered doing a patch up of it). It opens on the 7th of August and it says tickets are available through Ticketek website, although I can't find any mention of it.
You can access the Tripod site via http://www.rubberrecords.com.au/tripod.
There's a bunch of awesome Ratpack photos, exclusive to Tangawarra, thanks to Moogie. See them on the Paul pictures page and the Sandy pictures page (they're also on the Mikey pictures page, but they're all the same). I also found a link to a pretty cool site yesterday - Whack-a-Rove!
Alrighty, there's a new DAAS article and a new Bob picture, thanks to Miranda, and a new link to a site called Comedy In Review.
Three updates in three days, how about that? It's just like the old days when I could be bothered... ;0). What was I doing? Oh yeah, thanks to Fiona Rohana for telling me, Tangawarra's been linked to an article on the Fly TV website! Yay!
Tangawarra received an award yesterday, thanks to Vat Da Girls' Rove Site. Check it out here.
Thanks to Miranda and Karen, there's a new Bob article and Paul article, both of which have pictures with them. I've given most of the merchandise pages a touch up, and I'm going to add Rove merchandise and a couple of other things soon.
, which is a great second-hand books resource, where you can find heaps of cool stuff like Book, DAAS Kapital, Good News Week books and Left, Right & Centre.
Just a quick update, from Melbourne ComFest (a quick plug - if you're not planning to go and see Wil Anderson, I suggest you change your mind! I went last night and it was his funniest show yet! :0)). Anyway, just a quick note to say that Tangawarra's been nominated in TV Week's fansite awards. You need to register with TV Week to vote, but please go here and vote for me! :0)
There's a ton of stuff on the telly at the moment, that might interest you blokes.
Also, there's been a fair bit of comedy action on Good Morning Australia with Tripod and Wil both appearing last week, and there are rumours that Paul will be doing a spot on the Today show and/or GMA sometime this week.
With many thanks to Spoofy, I've updated the FAQ and found out that Tangawarra's been mentioned in TV Week again (see page 34 (of LAST week's)) if you don't believe me!). Yay!
Not strictly related, but this is my site and I'll do what I want with it (muhahaha!) - I've just put up my first ever Ebay auctions! Check them out here if you want! :0)
There's a heap of new Wil pictures, new Tripod pictures, a new Adam picture, Bob picture, Rove picture and Paul picture. Whew!
There's a pile of new links on the DAAS links page and a new Wil link. I just realised that I haven't put up a new song of the month since January... does anyone really care? Anyway, I've put a new song up.
Alrighty, Comedy Festival dates for ya... (prices range from $10 - $35, generally. Tuesdays and the early dates (ie. previews) are cheapest)
This list is of only the people featured on this site. There are tons more great shows to be seen, check out the Comedy Festival page, Ticketmaster page and Comedy Live for more listings! (I'll scan the pics from the Guide, and some others, in the next week or so!).
There's a new DAAS Chords link and a Rove link, and a DAAS Winamp skin from Cosmic Cowboy.
Man, it's been a long time since I've updated here! I've not had a lot to put up. The Melbourne Comedy Festival guide comes out in The Age this Friday, which will no doubt yield some news and pictures. Patience, patience, patience! Oh yeah, there's a new Other link.
There's a new Glasshouse picture.
First of all, I added a picture of the cover of the Best Of The Big Gig video. And a few pieces of news:
There's a new Rove picture and a Wil picture.
Rove [Live] starts again tomorrow night - check out the new look website for more info (Question: Where are Corinne and Pete, huh?). Also, it might just be me, but when I visit Tangawarra (yes, I am so sad that I visit my own site regularly! ;0)), I get a 404 error. I'm not sure what the problem is, but if you refresh the page, it should work okay.
New song of the month.
It's Triple J Hottest 100 day today - from 10am to 6pm, they will be counting down the top 100 songs of the year. Adam and Wil are hosting the last two hours of the event. Also, Wil will be appearing on Pay TV channel Fox8 this Tuesday night, at 7.30pm, on a Buffy The Vampire Slayer special, of some description. :)
There are new pictures on the Rove, Corinne, Wil and Bob pages, as well as a new Wil wallpaper (with thanks to Alisso for the use of the picture). I've also done a bit of a cleanup, so if anything's not working, email me!
A couple of the people from Tangawarra are doing shows at the Adelaide Festival:
For tickets, call FringeTIX on 8201 4567, or visit www.adelaidefringe.com.au. For more info, visit token.com.au.
Paul will be doing a talk at the NSW Art Gallery tomorrow. For more info, visit the Art Gallery website. I've also updated The Sandman merchandise page.
I've fixed up Paul's Sunday Life pages, for some reason they weren't working (and haven't been since I put the site on this server - doh!).
Happy New Year! I've finally put up the new song of the month, as well as new links on the other links and rove links pages.
I've been through all the links pages, once again, and deleted all the dead links (boy, there was a lot of them this time!!). If anyone has any links, please email me! (And don't forget about the Ratpack thingo in Queensland (see below)).
I meant to put this up last week, but I totally forgot! The wonderfully funny Charlie Pickering is doing some work on Triple J, on Saturday and Sunday afternoons between 2pm and 6pm. This weekend, among others, Wil Anderson and Terri Psiakis will be dropping in for a chat.
A belated "Merry Christmas" to everyone! Just a quick note to say that if anyone wants to prebook seats for the Rat Pack shows in Queensland next March (details below), you can still email your details to me. ;0)
22 March 2002 - Gold Coast Arts Centre
23 March 2002 - Empire Toowoomba
Email me with your name, email, which show you'd like to see and how many seats to have seats prebooked.
Rove and his show are the winners of tons of awards in the Melbourne Herald Sun television awards, winning TV Personality Of The Year (Rove), Best New Talent (Rove), Best Male Presenter (Rove) and Best Variety/Talk Show. There are some new pictures from the feature on the Rove pictures page. Adam and Wil also got a mention, coming fifth in Best Radio Program and Best Radio Personality Or Team.
I've made minor changes to all the ICQ skins on various pages, nothing major, just touch ups (and they work in the new ICQ - yes, I downloaded it and tested them, finally!).
22 March 2002 - Gold Coast Arts Centre
23 March 2002 - Empire Toowoomba
As soon as I get exact ticket details, I'll post them. Also, if anyone's interested in having seats held for them, until tickets go on sale, email me (name, email, which show you'd like to see and how many seats), and I'll send your details off to Access Entertainment.
I've updated Paul's contact details (bottom of page).
Thanks to Wendy, there's some new Tim pictures and a DAAS drawing. The new song of the month is also up, finally!
Happy birthday to Mitchell! :0) Oh, and I've made a new guestbook - guestbook number four! For a site that's only a few years old, that's a lot! Thank you to everyone who's signed it, I really appreciate your comments (well, most of them, hehe!).
Paul has a new book coming out soon, called "The Scree", which is a fully illustrated "journey into the bizarre; chilling yet fun" (to quote the man himself). It will be released on Monday, and Paul is doing a series of book signings around Australia to promote it. I'm not sure of the exact dates, but over the coming weekend, and early next week, Paul will be in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane (if I find out the dates, I will post them here).
Finally, some updates! I haven't had a lot of time this month, and there hasn't been that much to put up. There are a heap of new Rove pictures, an Adam/Wil picture and some Tripod pictures. As well as this, I've finally scanned the Tosswinkle The Pirate cover and I've put up some info about the Kind Of Pluto EP. Enjoy!
