Hyde has a great joy of life and large amounts of energy that lend a certain lightness to his step. He has no mercy and hardly any conscience, so any horrible crime he might commit will not affect him like the rest of us, but will instead put him in a sadistic "high." He is, however, very capable of carrying on a conversation -- indeed, sometimes a hidden force inside him seems to restrain or control his actions. But any emotion he feels is magnified tenfold -- once he gets caught up in rage, impatience, passion, etc., he has no control over his actions and acts like an uncivilized beast. All of his actions are selfish, done only for his benefit. If his life or well-being is in any way threatened, he acts as a cornered beast, lashing out at any who try to hinder or help him, pacing like a caged lion. Hyde is impatient, quick to rage, unmerciful, and sadistic. Sometimes, with seemingly no provocation, he flies into a rage, rampaging like a homicidal psychopath. Almost all of his actions stem from evil -- he lies, cheats, and physically or verbally assaults anyone who so much as looks at him sideways. He stop at nothing to cause harm to others, and lives his life in mystery and shadow. He sometimes shows symptoms of multiple personality disorder or schizophrenia, muttering to himself. There's also be something odd about him -- something that is difficult to place, a kind of malformation of his soul, caused by his great evil. Anyone who meets him feels a strong revulsion towards him -- and if they do not want to kill him at first sight, he makes sure that they feel that urge rather quickly. As for the subject of mates and friends -- let's just say that Hyde has his own methods of handling those. Friends -- pfah, who needs them? Even if someone /could/ tolerate his presence for long, he would surely drive them away with his vicious personality. Any pups he fathers will almost surely be the product of rape or some other equally violent form of intercourse (at the owner's consent and a special R-rated thread, of course) -- and any mate he had, he would not feel any attachment to and would soon abandon. That is, unless she proved to be a good source of pleasure and entertainment. Then she would be worth keeping around.
