Library - Poetry - Time to Live

You say your life is one big nightmare,
Of guilt and pain which you must bare,
Within the darkness of despair,
'Tis for yourself alone you care.

But the time has come at long last,
For you to now forget the past,
You've got to fly your flag full mast,
Don't let your life go by too fast.

And as your shattered life now mends,
Use your mistakes to warn your friends,
Guide them 'round the darkened bends,
Away from what the darkness sends.

You should have helped all you could,
Now it's time you turned to good,
It's time to do the things you should,
It's time to live.
