Quality time is one of those clinches that therapists bandy about as the answer for every relationship problem. But all the latest research suggests it actually is the cure. A study involving 21,000 couples by Enrich Marriage Project in the US suggests that good communication is the greatest difference between happy couples and nastily divorced ones.
Quality communication requires quality time and some of us don't have the time for a bath, let alone a night out with our beloved. Quality time isn't necessarily about how much time you spend together, we have met couples who spend lot of time together, but yet end up in divorce, it's about the quality of communication. It is about being true to oneself and one's partner. On some days, you may only see each other for 10 minutes; it's better then spending a whole night in a romantic restaurant where you do nothing but moan about your life situation or the world. Our Master used to have a restaurant, and lot of couples were there to be seen out, rather then being with each other.
For couple living together, quality time should begin for the time they wake up, spend a intimate moment of waking up without over imposing one each other but a gentle laying of hands on each other, and waiting for your partner to fully come out of his or her dream stage. The dream stage is a very important part of one's life. It is when the sub-conscious talks with the conscious mind.
It will be ideal for whomever that wake up first to bring in a wake freshening beverage of one's choice. It could be a cup of Chai (Indian tea), coffee for some or just some water to flesh down the toxins that the body need to release every morning.
