Tanya's 21st Birthday celebration

Although Tanya's birthday was on 12 May, the other birthday activities for her friend Anita who has a similar birth date meant that it was 25 May 2002 before Tanya was free to travel down from Rotorua to her own not-too-formal one. This was held with family at the State of Art restaurant (Anita's Mum's) in Dannevirke, and would be the last occasion when virtually all Tanya's maternal family would be present with her - which was unique in itself, given where everyone travelled from for the meal. These photos, which were afterthoughts as we almost forgot to take any at all, were taken near the end - by which time the little kids had decided they wished to learn all about pokie machines, so they were switched back on. She won the kids some money too.
