Memorial To Tanya Burr, killed 15 September 2002

'Celebrating' Tanya's 22nd Birthday - without her

At about 7:30am Tanya's Uncle Russell put the "22" on Tanya's grave, when en route to work. We found this mysterious (until Russell saw this webpage) addition at about 8:58am, when we called in on the way to school/work (starting 9:00am!) when trying to coincide with Tanya's moment of birth, which was 8:53am. Kieran, myself, Phoebe and Puffball later in the day contributed a laminated birthday card, yet another fake plant twig (with red and black berries!!), a couple of feather butterflies, and a potted pansy (in the grey ceramic pot).

There are also a range of messages on the website guest book relating to Tanya's 22nd birthday.

The various silk flowers and ornaments on the grave are from a range of people and a couple have even come all the way from Norway. Tanya's cousin Jamie made the flower pot with her name on it, but we didn't have any flowers in the garden to put in it at this time, and a bunch of branches didn't seem right.

These photos were taken about 9:00am on 13 May 2003, as there wasn't enough light left late the previous afternoon for the digital camera.
