We reveal a tapestry of pain woven in our own bodies: each scar, each burn documents our despair; a roadmap of our lives marked in our flesh.
We are the broken ones, scarred by life, driven by energies we cannot resist. We are SI-blings, bound together by pain no other can understand.

Welcome to Tapestry of Pain, the self-injury (SI) poetry e-zine. I created this site after I noticed that the only other SI e-zine Can't Shout, Can't Scream has ceased production. Yet still the number of SI-ers continues to grow and I have noticed that many of us write about our experiences - we seem to be a very creative group of people. And so Tapestry of Pain was born.
We publish poetry exclusively from SI-ers, and entirely online. While that is our primary focus, if anyone would like to submit reviews of books about SI, or essays on the subject, I think we can see our way clear to publishing them!
If you would like to submit your work please visit the writers' guidelines for more information, and once I've seen the amount of interest there is, I'll put up a publishing schedule.
