Van Der Feen's Family

Pure Heart Church ( Jai Sa Ard ) was started by God leading a missionary family from Holland. The first time this family came to work with the Cambodia refuge camp at Tapraya. And this family is a missionary of Youth With A Mission. His name is Rob Van Der Feen his wife Loes Van Der Feen and family. He started the church at that time. Mr. Taway Chaisook , Miss. Charee , Miss. Subin Aektasang also came and helped. All of them work with Youth With A Mission at that time too.

In the beginning they rented a small 2 storey house to make a Sunday service. The Church it started to grow, especially the kids group. At that time we called " New vision church " ( Ni Met Mai ) And we have a lot of Kids hungry to learn about God. But Satan tried to stop them. Satan worked through the guardian of the kids. The guardian of the kids stopped the kids coming to the church. After that the people at the village forbid them from coming too. Also the member at the church got feedback from the family. Little by little the member kept away from the church because the feedback from the family. And the Kids didn't come to the church any more. So at that time the church have to stop Sunday service in 1990.

Pastor Sa-Ard

After the church had closed. It only had one member who still believed in Jesus Christ. His name is Mr. Sa-Art Khammark. Then Mr. Sa-Art come to Mr. Rob for a bible study. And he helped Mr. Rob with evangelism then it started to have a few new people come to believe in Jesus. After that Mr. Rob he opened his house on the 1st floor to have a Sunday service and bible study. Because at that time we didn't have too many members. Also in this year YWAM have to stopped to work in TAPRAYA Mr. Taway Chaisook , Mr. Suwit, Miss. Charee , Miss. Subin Aektasang have to leave Tapraya. Some of them when back home and some of them went to work and married.

By the year 1991 Holy spirit of God was moving in Tapraya. The church it had more believers coming. Then we had to look for a new house to be used for a Sunday service and bible study. Because Mr. Rob house is too small on that time. God lead us to rent a 2 storey house. It was bigger than the house that we had before. For now Mr. Rob made Mr. Sa-ard a leader of the church. And Mr. Rob was the pastor. In the same year we were very thankful that God led a family from England to come to help Mr. Rob to work with the church. That was Mr. Ian Talbot his wife Gabrielle Talbot and Family. Also Talbot's family was missionary with Youth With A Mission. These two families and the other people in the beginning were a blessing to us, the Tapraya people because they take the Good new of Jesus to us.

Talbot's Family

Not too long after that God called Mr. Rob Van Der Feen and Family back home. And also God called Talbot's family to serve Him in another part of Thailand. Mr. Rob was the pastor at that time and he let Mr. Sa-ard take care of the church after he left.

We found out that the name" New vision " ( Ni Met Mai ) was already used by another church before our church. So the leader at the church agree together to change to a new name. We use the time to pray and God give us the name " PURE HEART CHURCH " ( Jai Sa Ard )

Khammark's Family

God has been leading us for the past 10 years. So we hope that one day the Kingdom of God will spread over the land of Tapraya into the Cambodia. Because we went to evangelic and help them to build the school.
