experiences in high school football. Of course, everyone
wants to be a big star, but the truth is, only a few
athletes on any team ever really achieve "stardom".
And even that can fade after graduation. It may sound like an after school special, but here it is - friends are more important that being a big star. They will stand by you when everyone else has turned away. The competition to be the best drives Chris Hannigan. His brother, Mattie was injured in a car wreck, and it left him at the mental age of six. Now Chris has to choose between being a brother to Mattie, or turning his back on friends and family to find acceptance with the "In Crowd." Of course, it doesn't help when your father has just become the head coach of the football team. Balancing football and home life is difficult enough, but Chris' two worlds just collided.
