Teresa Dietzinger - U.S.A. The costuming bug first bit when I was back in college and had been sent to work in the Drama Department Costume Shop as my financial aid/work study assignment. That was where I learned most of the ropes about seamstressing. (The rest of the ropes I learned by sheer trial and error. Mostly the latter.) Since my college days, I've made about a gazillion costumes for myself and my friends, most of which were Renaissance-style dresses made to wear during SCA activities and Renfests. My interest in sewing has only recently begun to swing towards cosplay (the creating and wearing of costumes based on characters from Japanese animation.) It's a hobby I've come to thoroughly enjoy , (except for those times when I hit a snag during a project and I find myself tearing my hair out in frustration. Ouch. That's not so much fun.) Besides sewing, my other hobbies include drawing fantasy and anime fanart, drawing webcomics, reading webcomics, keeping up this here website, and pretending to work a lot harder than I actually do.
