Ha iniziato a disegnare dal tempo in cui poteva tenere un pastello in
mano.

Frequenta per due anni la Moore College of Art and Design a Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Vincendo una borsa di studio per merito.

Dopo un blocco di creatività durato otto anni, frequenta una scuola di arte dove esplora altre strade di espressione creativa: scrittura, canzone, cucito e composizione musicale fino a che il suo blocco non si rompe nel 1995, anno in cui ha iniziato a dipingere "Il caos Regina". Alcuni degli artisti che ammira e che forse in un certo grado la hanno influenzata sono: Remedios Varo, Maxfield Parrish, Jean Delville ed A.O. Spare.

Le sue sorgenti principali di ispirazione sono la musica e, filosoficamente parlando, le tensioni tra le forze divine ed infernali. Vede il suo lavoro pittorico come un mezzo per trovare una riconciliazione di queste tensioni al suo interno e tra lei e il mondo.

Attualmente ha pianificato di dipingere tutti gli Arcani Maggiori dei Tarocchi.

Oltre agli altri progetti di lavori a matita e penna continua a lavorare con il suo medium preferito: la pittura ad olio.

Heather Evenenstar was born July 28th 1972 in Wilmington, Delaware U.S.

She started drawing from the time she was able to hold a
crayon.
Other than basic art instruction throughout her required years of public
schooling she is a self-taught artist.

Two years after graduating from high school in 1990, she
had applied to attend Moore College of Art and Design in Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania.
Heather won a $12,000 Merit Scholarship from Moore, despite this she was
unable to attend due to still too great a lack of finances.
Since she was in the middle of what was an eight year visual creativity
block, she gave up the idea of going to art school and explored other
avenues of creative expression. These were writing, singing, sewing, and
music until her block broke in 1995 when she started painting "Chaos
Regina".

A few of the artists she most admires, and who have
perhaps influenced her to a degree are: Remedios Varo, Maxfield Parrish,
Jean Delville, and A.O. Spare.

Heather's main sources of inspiration are music and,
philosophically, the tensions between Divine and Infernal forces. She
views her artwork as a medium through which to reconcile these tensions
within herself and possibly the world as well.

Currently she has plans to paint the entire Major Arcana
of the Tarot. Heather has a few other projects in progress; pencil and pen
works in addition to her preferred medium, oil paints.
