• Physical Egg Tarot - deck size: 2 1/2" X 2 3/4" (6 X 6.5 cm) - a series of tarot paintings done upon empty eggshells, still perfectly intact. Then, once the deck was complete, photographs were taken, of which laser prints were subsequently made and then produced into this unusual and very original set of cards.
  "In 1987 my brother Guido Gillabel created the Cosmic Egg Tarot. This gave me the inspiration to make its counterpart, the Physical Egg Tarot. As I like to experiment with painting, I decided to paint a major arcana on empty egg shells. For a couple of weeks I ate a lot of eggs and painted a new tarot deck. The images have been painted by inspiration at the moment of painting itself. They are based on the traditional images, altered here and there according to my intuition at that time".
• Oak Tarot - deck size: 3" X 3" (7.5 X 7.5 cm) - A young oak tree was growing in the garden. I had planted it as an acorn and it was a couple of years old when I cut it and made some tools out of it. One piece of its stem I cut into 22 slices and painted the Oak Tarot on them. It is one of my tarot decks painted purely by intuition. Of course I had to keep it simple because of the limited surface (2", or 5 cm, in diameter). 
• Dirk has an extensive background in esoteric subjects. This knowledge enabled him to write many articles and brochures, most of which were published in limited editions. In an effort to crystallize his knowledge, he created a series of tarot decks, in limited editions. Most of them were executed as black and white drawings, two of these have been painted in full color by Carol Herzer. In House of the Sun, a section of Soul Guidance, Dirk has written many articles about esoteric and spiritual subjects.
