He has the looks. He has the moves. He has the crew. He has the voice. He has the HITS. Songs like "Pony", "Holla", What’s So Different", "Tell Me Do You Wanna", "Same Ol’ G", "Toe To Toe", "When Doves Cry" are what makes him the multi-million selling international artist he is. He has also covered on 100% Ginuwine, the track "She's Out Of my Life" originally sung by Michael Jackson, one of his major influences in music.
He began his music career in the late 80's with Finesse Five (no, it's not a shampoo, it's a band!) and shortly after that he had his big break when discovered by Donald 'Devante' DeGrate (from Jodeci) while singing with a local band called Physical Wonder (no, this one's not a shampoo either!). Unfortunately Devante got into a spot of trouble with the record label and things went sour for Ginuwine, Missy, Timbaland, Magoo, Da Bassment, Jodeci and, of course Devante himself. All of the above, bar Devante himself have since picked up their music careers and moved on to bigger success, Ginuwine has had plenty of those...particularly with the birth of his daughter, Story, with his long-term partner Solé [who, for those of you that didn't know is one hard-core hip-hop artist who looks like a catwalk model but once she opens her mouth to rap... there's a whole new side to her...]
