Born Robert Kelly, in 1970, in Chicago IL, this street-performer-turned-R&B-star has had four huge albums and various appearances on film soundtracks. He is often referred to as ‘the lost Isley’. This statement can be justified by his soulful vocals on songs such as "You Remind Me Of Something", "Religious Love", "Bump & Grind" and "If I Could Turn Back The Hands Of Time". He has demonstrated his ability to get you moving on the dance floor with songs like "She’s Got That Vibe", "Home Alone" and "Hump n Bounce". He shows his versatility on tracks like "The Opera" (R.) where he sings an opera version of a verse of "Half On A Baby" much to the amusement of many fans. His influences include The Isley Brothers, Marvin Gaye and Donny Hathaway. Those who he has influenced include Aaliyah and Montell Jordan.
