Pat and I married young and had four children, three boys and a girl. After three of them were married and away from home, we chose to emigrate to the USA.
In 1980 we moved to the Bay Area near San Francisco. Unusual, I know, to raise your family then for YOU to leave, but everything worked out fine.
Our youngest boy, Michael came with us, then our eldest, Ken and his wife Chris followed a couple of years later. So we now have these two in the US, and the other two, Christine and David, back 'home' in the UK.
All are happily married and doing well, I’m pleased to say. We have a total of nine grandchildren.
We took early retirement in 1998, sold our house in CA and moved here to a nice new house on a golf course in Las Vegas. We travel a lot and have two 'big' trips per year, as well as lots of smaller weekend or week-long trips here in the Southwest.
