Because I have such a big role in furry communities like Define Cynical and BigFurs, I adopted a snow leopard identity there. Below are some of the drawings based on this furry persona.

Sometimes I take the time to draw others in the furry community. It is certainly fun to be able to have a good visual for the stuff that goes on among them. Some of the fellows and friends I've drawn include Ibun, FoxChild, Ravage and Star (jade coloring and species changes intentional), Crimson, zStorm, RiceEatingTiger, and Caitlyn.

Caitlyn has taken the time to pursue higher education at the Bigfurs Community College, and in turn has learned a few things. I hope you enjoy reading "Stuff I Learned from the BFCC".

You can find more of my drawings linked on my page, such as a drawing of Atonic as a human as well as a snow leopard. Here are an assortment of other characters from various stories I was writing or roleplaying in the past few years. Sorry to say that many of the stories are still unwritten, and many more characters have not even been drawn, but these are a start.
First are the Campus Cats.. Two of the comical characters are pictured here: Newspaper and Sparky.. Newspaper's a messenger, and Sparky's.. well, Sparky! He has his ah, special traits. I would like to thank my friend Cole for his part in making these funny characters possible.

In addition to characters, I also tend to draw stuff on the more technical side.. Here is one such sketch of some eyeglasses-mounted camera.. more as a case study for wearable computing, as is the handy jog-controller.

The fireplace drawing on the left is one I had made to help visualize the Tavern and practice working with perspective. My favorite thing about this drawing is the texture of the rocks above the fireplace itself. An earlier drawing I had made for the Tavern was just as nice, but then I lost it to a coloring incident involving random colored pencils and a younger cousin, so all I have of the intact version is what I captured with the camera. Maybe I should redraw that scene sometime.

To coincide with the Child of Light story I am writing, I thought it might be cool to imagine what some related technology would be like when this story becomes possible. One of the things of interest is the kind of computer Mr. Burke uses to program the AI.
The PC to the left looks deceptively similar to what is around at present, but such things are necessary mostly due to the relative difficulty for humans to communicate programming code in the more exotic interfaces available such as voice recognition, immersive reality, or haptic interfaces. The monitor is very slim and flat, there is a keyboard and pointing device, and a place to put external media and portable devices. Could this possibly be what the future has in store? As far as an interface goes, a unit like this is difficult to replace with the more mobile devices that exist. Even after voice recognition technology matures, programmers will still need to type. What is not obvious at first glance is that the PDA is the heart of the entire machine. It contins the necessary code to communicate with all of the I/O devices and also contains the data the user needs. The docking station simply offers the powerful boost of a hard line to the world and a friendlier user interface. The screen may be the size of a wall for the average person to entertain guests, but programmers need only enough screen for themselves.
This particular monitor is different. It contains suspended particles that refract and reflect light through its interior in a holographic matrix. In short, objects displayed on this monitor look just like the real thing, with true-to-life depth perception. The mouse-like device has embedded accelerometers and gyroscopes to wirelessly track its movement including pitch, yaw, roll, and translations along the three axes. It sits on its charger when not in use.
